About KittyBio
Mission
“Every cat—remembered.”
Our mission—as ambitious as it is easy to state—is to record the birth and life of every cat.
Most cats depart this earth without any record or memory of their existence. We want to change this by providing an online registry that's easy, fun, and freely useable by any person or breed.
Our dream is that one day this site is known as the place to go when a kitten is born.
Suggested uses for this site:
- Rescues and shelters who witness births or find kittens
- Breeders document litters and births
- People who feed or take in strays
- People who care for community cats
- Anyone who finds a kitten
- Anyone who wants to immortalize their fluffy friends
This site is a working prototype. If there's interest and it becomes popular, the intent is to form a non-profit to run the site.
About
Chuck took over Luna's care when she was already a senior. He was always a little sad that he didn't know more about Luna's background and history: When was she born? Did she have siblings? What did she look like as a kitten?
After Luna passed, he was inspired to create KittyBio so cat lovers across the world can have life records for their beloved companions.
